Free Meditation Procedure

 

Why Meditate? I have experienced much greater happiness, peace, joy, appreciation, and connectedness since meditating. I have less interest in planning outcomes, and the wonderful ability to be present enjoying each moment. I am able to peacefully witness old beliefs and transcend them to embrace my unlimited Self. Without a doubt, meditation is THE MOST valuable tool I have found for experiencing lasting inner peace and happiness.”

Meditation Suggestions:

Find a place with little to no distractions. A good place is a quiet room where you won’t be disturbed. 
 
Meditate in a comfortable chair or position where you are upright. I use a simple meditation bench that I made from instructions online.

Try not to rest your head which can be conducive to sleep.
 
Wear loose non-constrictive clothing. Try to wait a bit after eating.
 
Use a timer. The best results are experienced when meditation is practiced at least twice per day for 20 min each time. Meditating during a 5-10 minute break can also be very energizing.

If a thought comes to mind, simply appreciate it. You might say “I appreciate this thought as my last” and go back to repeating the mantra.

Most importantly, please remember that there is no wrong way to meditate. I suggest you simply invest the time in yourself. 

Meditation tends to energize. I follow night meditation with a warm bath prior to sleep. 

Meditation Procedure:

A. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths
B. Remind yourself of the following 3 things PERIODICALLY during the meditation. Practice and take the time to memorize these, the benefit is huge:

  1. I have no expectation
  2. I am totally innocent
  3. I have Total appreciation for EVERY thing.

C. You can also repeat a mantra such as aahmaa to propel you through the meditation if you need it. I started meditating by saying it out loud at first to help me focus. You can vary the length of the beginning (aah) and the ending (maaaa) sounds to also help you focus.
